For a final project of my Photography class at Kirkwood community college, we were tasked to emulate a photographer of our choosing. I chose Lori Nix, as her miniatures really spoke to me. I’m a collector of Breyer Model Horses, and thought to myself, “What a fun project.” The concept of Lori Nix is forced perspective, making miniature things seem larger than they are.
